Compensation: ~$20/hr (including tips)
We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our team at our new taco shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks to our customers while maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere at the bar. As a bartender, you will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, be knowledgeable about our menu, and ensure that all drinks are served according to our standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve drinks according to our menu and customer preferences.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure that all drink orders are accurate and served promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of our menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for all bar supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience working as a bartender.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and drink building techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
This position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). The bartender will work in a busy and noisy environment, and may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
