Job Summary: Margaritas is seeking a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating an engaging bar atmosphere and delivering exceptional drink service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a flair for engaging with customers, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a high-volume bar is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Drink Preparation: Mix and serve drinks according to Margarita’s recipes. Maintain high quality and consistency of all beverages served.

Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests. Engage with customers, taking the time to understand their preferences and making recommendations.

Inventory Management: Keep the bar stocked and clean. Regularly check inventory levels and request restocks as needed.

Cash Handling: Accurately manage tabs and cash transactions. Ensure all sales are recorded properly.

Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service and health code regulations.

Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, ensuring all equipment functions correctly.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the bar and restaurant staff to ensure a seamless service experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of mixology, bar equipment, and common cocktails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
- Knowledge of handling and maintaining a cash drawer.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Certification from a bartending school or equivalent training is a plus.
- Knowledge of local liquor laws.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.
