Cook Lead
Our growing meal prep company is looking for a candidate to join our kitchen team as a Cook Lead. We are a local company focused on providing healthy and convenient meals to the Las Vegas community and are looking for someone to contribute to the great culture we already have.
The Cook Lead assists the Cook Supervisor in overseeing production and training staff as well as any other duties assigned to them. They are responsible for leading the cook team in prepping and cooking large batches of food. This position requires following established production procedures such as recipes, logs, checklists, and complying with food safety guidelines.
Experience:
ServSafe Food Manager Card Required
Min 3 years experience in production kitchen or catering/banquet establishment.
Min 2 yrs in leadership position
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word)
SharePoint and Email etiquette preferred.
Must have:
-Excellent kitchen etiquette
-Ability to read/follow recipes exactly
Availability & Pay
Job Type: Full-time, Mandatory overtime when necessary.
Pay: DOE $17-$18/hour, starting
Weekends and holidays required
(Except Thanksgiving and Christmas - we are closed)
