Purpose of the Position:
Follow health guidelines to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen and food preparations areas
Scope of Job:
Dishwashers will be responsible to wash all utensils, smallwares, cups and glasses. Dishwashers must also keep the dishwashing area clean while maintaining proper dilution of chemicals used in the sinks.
Keep all items used for food preparation clean and sanitized
Maintain three compartment sink, and proper dilution of all chemicals used Mopping floors, cleaning walls and outside areas of restaurant.
May be responsible for lifting and organizing pots, pans onto shelves, and/or product received on shift
Clean/detail areas of the restaurant before or after hours as needed Maintain walk-in organization
Assist with preparation of food and line duties Make sure back of house trash is emptied
Make sure that the most commonly used dishes are cleaned first such as bowls and baskets
Unload and put away orders
