Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Professional diploma or food services management
- Food safety certified
- RBS certified
- Minimum 2 years of full-service restaurant experience with demonstrated knowledge of food trends, quality, production, sanitation, and presentation
- Customer service-oriented
- Effective communication skills
- Able to stand and walk 100% of the time while running plates between the kitchen and dining room
- Able to transport up to 30 pounds
- Will be exposed to heat and noise in a busy kitchen environment
- Superior attendance and punctuality
- Arrive on time and in proper full uniform attire, including non-slip shoes
- Uniforms and/or clothing should always be "on stage clean"
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies
- Promote a healthy, harmonious, and profitable working relationship within the restaurant
- Attend and participate in department meetings as required
- Incorporate systems and routines into the day-to-day operations
- Exercise good judgment and report issues to GM/FOH manager
- Partner with BOH for customer satisfaction
- Maintain Food Handler Certification compliance
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager
Operations:
- Pre-bus tables
- Complete all opening and closing procedures for this position and assist Wait Staff
- Have complete knowledge and recognition of all menu items and ability to describe them
- Conduct oneself in a professional and mature manner
- Efficiently deliver food to dining tables according to orders
- Promptly refill water and non-alcoholic drinks
- Utilize correct table numbers and have a complete working knowledge of the table pivot point system
- Be attentive and sensitive to guests' needs
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Complete quality control for all food items
- Ensure all side areas, service areas, and counters are kept in a neat and orderly fashion
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure station, as well as the entire restaurant, is always clean
- Complete all side work duties
