As a Petro’s General Manager you would:
• Lead, manage, and operate a proud local Petro’s location
• Serve your community
• Focus most of your day on the floor engaging with guests and team members
• Equip your team to stay focused, take initiative, treat each other with grace, and serve great food quickly
• Ensure the store is immaculately clean – both inside and out
• Develop a team of leaders who can create more leaders
• Lead by example, confidence, and with humility
• Commit to making the store a sustainable business by taking ownership (Cost of Goods and Labor numbers are met)
• Earn a percentage of the store profits by stewarding our business wisely

What we are looking for:
• 2-3 years Servant leadership - Looking for leaders who are not above washing dishes!
• Restaurant experience preferred
• Business acumen - experience managing cost of goods and labor
• Desire to run a business vs just do a job
• Organized
• Proven ability to manage a team and their performance
• The desire to engage our guests and team members and spend more time on the floor with them than in the kitchen
• The ability to be on your feet for up to 10 hours per day
• The desire to help people and serve your community
• Must be able to work weekends


Schedules
A typical schedule for a General Manager is 5 days a week, including some weekends, but this could be extended if there are other events or needs at your store that require your presence in the community. PT and FT hourly team members schedule are from around 8 am - 9 pm every day of the week. You are the operator of the store, so even when you are not there, you have ownership of what happens. Our goal is for you to develop an effective team that you trust to lead the store when you are not there so you can still enjoy time off with family and friends!
