Position Summary:
The General Manager oversees all aspects of our full-service restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team performance, and operational excellence. This role drives bar and food sales, builds a cohesive team, and manages daily operations in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and sanitation across kitchen, dining, and bar areas.
• Drive bar sales through menu development, staff training, and creative promotions.
• Build and lead a strong, collaborative team through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, including stock rotation and ordering for food and beverage programs.
• Schedule staff and oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly to uphold exceptional service standards.
• Handle onboarding, training, and administrative tasks (payroll, HR, budgets, profit/loss statements).
• Perform additional duties as needed to support operations.
Physical Demands:
• Work in a controlled indoor environment, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (freezers at -10°F, kitchens at +110°F).
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift 30+ pounds regularly in a fast-paced setting.
• Maneuver in limited spaces and perform repetitive tasks like grasping and communicating with guests and staff.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant with bar operations.
• Proven success managing establishments with $2M+ in annual sales.
• Strong skills in driving bar sales and beverage program development.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• Comfortable in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
• SERV Safe certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and nights (45–55 hours/week based on business needs).
