Grill Cook - Danbury

We are looking for a motivated Grill Cook to prepare menu items to meet guests’ preferences. The duties of the Grill Cook include cutting & slicing vegetables, slicing & portioning meats, making sauces & purees and more. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task and be a people person. If you have previous experience at delis or restaurants, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Grill Cook will go above and beyond to help fulfill our guests’ needs as it relates to grill items at Amigos Deli.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare mise-en place for grill menu items.
• Prepare grill menu items to our guests liking.
• Maintain freshness, food quality, & proper food handling procedures
• Clean & maintain cleanliness on all workstations.

Requirements:
• At least 1 year of high-volume grill cook experience
• Must be a strong multitasker.
• Must be bilingual.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Work long hours on your feet
