Qualifications
  • Bakers & Confectioners: 1 year (Required)
  • Food Handler Certification (Required)

Responsibilities:
  • Organizing, prioritizing, and assisting oversight of daily production and facilitating efficient production flow of fellow parfait room culinary staff including: printing cook sheets, making daily production sheet based on daily roll overs, making and printing parfait room hand off sheet
  • Assisting Chef Management team with oversight, training, and guidance of parfait room culinary staff
  • Training with Chef Management team on managerial duties including, but not limited to: ordering, inventory, research and development, and managerial leadership skills
  • Exercising expert judgment and attention to detail in assessing food quality with regard to the Junior Sous’ own production, and the production all cooks under their shift supervision
  • Executing recipes and cooking procedures consistently and accurately at an expert level
Skills & Qualities:
  •  4+ years of food preparation experience
  • 3+ years of hospitality, catering, or professional kitchen background
  • 3+ years of professional baking/pastry/parfait experience
  • 6 months+ in entry level management
  • Able to use a standard electronic scale
  • Valid Food Handlers Certificate
