Monday - Friday: 7AM-3:30PM
The Inventory Control Clerk I should possess a moderate understanding of electronic components - through-hole and surface mount - and have some knowledge of the processes associated with the assembly of printed circuit board assemblies. Must demonstrate the ability to learn tasks in a timely manner, follow instructions, and retain the knowledge learned in regard to stockroom and inventory functions. Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
The Inventory Control Clerk I may be required to receive material from trucks, unpack, count, sort, organize, mark or label inventoried material or customer kits, following guidelines and procedures. Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Clerk I are to enter material movement transaction data for purchased or manufactured items, in line with EMSG procedures, and store material in the proper inventory location. As directed, pull work orders from inventory or from customer kits. Record shortages for each work order and communicate shortages to interested parties, internal or external, per outlined procedures. Transport work order material to the appropriate department and make any necessary computer entries. Perform cycle counts regularly.
May operate or assist with the Sequencer and VCD insertion machines.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Job may require standing or sitting.
The Inventory Control Clerk I will carry out these duties in compliance with company standards and policies. The Inventory Control Clerk I will report to the Production Manager.
