Job Summary: Seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our premier comedy club. As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, staff training, and compliance with health and safety regulations. We're looking for a ServSafe Manager-certified culinary professional with a track record in fast-paced kitchens. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and inventory management. 
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen staff by hiring, training, scheduling, and providing guidance for a positive and productive work environment. 
  • Ensure food is prepared to high standards and follows sanitation guidelines, including portion control and plating techniques. 
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute menu planning, inventory management, and cost control strategies to achieve financial goals. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper food storage, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations. 
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance kitchen efficiency, productivity, and profitability. 
  • Serve as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders.

Requirements: 
  • ServSafe Manager certification is required. 
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead a team. 
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and culinary techniques. 
  • Proficient in inventory management, supply ordering, and scheduling for optimal kitchen operations. 
  • Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure with a positive attitude. 
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • A culinary degree or equivalent work experience is preferred but not required.
