Position Summary: At Noble Chicken a Back of the House (BOH) position is one in which the primary responsibility is food preparation, cooking and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, essentially working behind the scenes where customers are not directly visible, ensuring the quality and consistency of every dish served; key duties include following recipes, managing inventory, adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities will vary and may include the following essential functions.

  • Interact with every team member and guest professionally and in a friendly and hospital manner.
  • Primary responsibility is to prepare ingredients, cook dishes according to established recipes and ensure food quality meets restaurant standards.Compliance with portion sizes, cooking methods and quality standards included in recipes.
  • This includes tasks such as prepping ingredients, managing stock levels, rotating inventory, and ensuring proper storage of food items. 100% Compliance with opening/closing and restocking of the line as needed and at the end of each shift.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen workspace, following proper hygiene practices and adhering to food safety regulations are key to the success of this role.
  • Adhering to established standards for service, dress code and sanitation procedures.
  • Handles, store and rotate all product properly including stocking product and inventory upon truck delivery.
  • Consistently working with others as a team, demonstrating our core values of Positively Impacting Others, Standing Together as Family, and Encouraging Fun.
  • Collaborating with other kitchen staff and FOH staff to efficiently manage orders, communicate any issues and maintain a smooth workflow.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong Communication abilities and positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time in a hot environment.
  • Ability to safely work with knives and around hot equipment.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and food safety regulations. Knowledge of HACCP standards.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Requires frequent hand washing and glove usage.
