Position Overview

At Ggiata, our Back of House Line Team Members play a vital role in delivering the bold flavors, consistency, and quality our guests love. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in craftsmanship, and values teamwork and growth. As part of the line team, you’ll prepare and assemble menu items to Ggiata standards, support daily prep, and help maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen. Working closely with kitchen leadership and teammates, you’ll help ensure smooth service, strong communication, and consistent quality every shift.

|Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to Ggiata recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Execute line stations efficiently during service, maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency.
- Support daily prep tasks, including slicing, portioning, labeling, and stocking stations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards across the kitchen and line stations.
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen teammates and Front of House to support smooth service flow.
- Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties as assigned.
- Take direction from Kitchen leadership and support the team during busy periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience: 6 months to 1 year of kitchen experience is a plus, but not required. New to restaurants? No problem. We are excited to train motivated team members with energy, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.

Communication: Comfortable communicating and interacting with teammates. Conversational English & Spanish is a plus.

Reliability & Adaptability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to supporting the team. Ability to stay organized, calm, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs for extended periods, often up to 10 hours per day. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and carry items at least 10 feet, along with performing other physical tasks required in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
