Responsibilities:
  1. Food Preparation: Execute the preparation of food items following standardized recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistency and high-quality output.
  2. Cooking and Plating: Prepare and cook various menu items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to established cooking methods and presentation standards. Ensure all dishes are plated attractively and meet our visual and taste expectations.
  3. Station Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout the shift, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  4. Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate effectively with other team members, including chefs, servers, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of food orders.
  5. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage. Conduct regular checks on prepared food items to ensure adherence to our quality standards.
  6. Efficiency and Timing: Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time to meet the demands of a busy kitchen and deliver exceptional service.
  7. Adherence to Policies: Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including proper handling of equipment, adherence to food handling guidelines, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:
  1. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  2. Culinary Knowledge: Solid understanding of various cooking techniques, food safety guidelines, and proper food handling practices.
  3. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
  4. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
  5. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  6. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
  7. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
