Wage: $16 per hour

- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over prepare estimated needs.
- Date all food containers and rotate, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up. Note any out of stock items or possible shortages.
- Return all food items not used on the next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables.
- Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, control food waste, and loss.
- Operate, maintain and properly clean all kitchen line cook equipment.
- Comply with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage.
- Understand and comply with proper food preparation, cooking, handling and storage.

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to be organized, multi-task with attention to detail and adapt to a fast paced environment
- Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.
- Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs at times.
- Flexible availability
- Ability to travel locally for outside catering functions as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1+ year of cooking or kitchen experience preferred.
