Job Summary
- Help the Kitchen Manager in the overall operations of the kitchen.
- Assist in the preparation of all recipes and all operational duties
- Comply with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Contribute to our kitchen team in creating the daily prep list and delivering quality food on time.
- Ensure that all meals are properly prepared and presented to our guests.
- Assist in ordering of all products, taking inventory and deliveries
- Help your team members in other areas as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Familiar with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of a variety of recipes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to be a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work any shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Problem-solving and conflict management abilities
- A willingness to learn and to grow with company
About: We are a new multi-concept project located in Pacific Beach, CA, including six distinct food concepts under one umbrella: Spitfire, Head Lettuce, Checkered Churros, Harvey Carvers, Earlybird Breakfast Burritos, and Scotty Dogs. The project is being developed by local restaurateur Scott Slater and will feature a main kitchen with new and efficient technology for ordering, as well as robust delivery service.
