  • Promote and cultivate a healthy, harmonious and profitable working relationship with Hard Water and the Slanted Door Group.
  • Attend & participate in department meeting as required
  • Ensure that all systems and routines are incorporated into the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
  • Exercise good judgment in decision-making and reporting issues to GM/ FOH manager
  • Partner with FOH for customer’s satisfaction 
  • Food Handler Certification compliant
  • Responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the manager 

Essential Duties:
  • Accurately execute tickets in a timely manner as instructed per recipes and/or manager
  • Maintain accurate pars and counts and inform manager of 86’d items in a timely manner
  • Ensure all mise en place for the station are adequately stocked and displayed as assigned by Kitchen Manager or Chef
  • Check the quality of raw food products to ensure that health and safety standards are met
  • Follows recipes, controls, portion, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant with accuracy without supervision 
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of the products that is served 
  • Prepares all the food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner 
  • Followed proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes 
  • Maintain awareness of dishes for costumers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Partner with Front of House for customer satisfaction 
  • Responsible for refrigeration temperature control of the their station  & promptly report to Manager 
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and wipe down of their station, refrigeration compartments, shelving, oven, and all shared used working spaces before and after use; checking out with chef before leaving station for next service
