We are looking for line cooks whose responsibilities include the production of food including prep while maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen and line while complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to maintain a sense of urgency that allows you to deliver high-quality food on time. Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow all recipes, SOP's, SIP's and maintain a standard of excellence
- Use our presentations and garnish for every dish
- Follow all portion sizes and guidance for dishes and recipes
- Show up on time and ready for work every day
- Maintain a calm demeanor in a stressful situation.
- Treat all coworkers with respect including FOH staff
- Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Line Cook
- Knowledge of cooking, techniques, and food in general
- Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
- How to properly use a knife
- Always be willing to stay focused on the task at hand
- Ability multi-task under pressure
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
- Serve Safe certified
