Position Overview: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Madison Central, an award-winning hotel, is seeking a motivated professional Front Desk Attendant to join our team. The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and safety of all areas of the property. This role involves routine inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, daily pool chemical checks, and responding promptly to guest service requests or urgent repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance tasks and scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Respond quickly to maintenance issues reported by guests or staff.
Repair or replace fixtures, appliances, furniture, or equipment as needed.
Maintain pool, spa, gym, and other recreational facilities daily.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in maintenance workspace.
Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification or degree preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
