To help us expand throughout the West Coast, we’re growing our East Bay culinary team with experienced chefs who can handle high-volume catering-style production while working with the speed, urgency, and finesse of a high-end restaurant chef.

Qualifications:
- Reliable: you show up to work on time properly dressed and equipped and do all the tasks assigned to you at or above company standards
- Experienced: you have at least 3 years of cooking experience, ideally in a high-volume catering or hotel kitchen
- Disciplined: you take pride in your work and do your best even when no one’s watching
- Ambitious: you enjoy learning new ingredients, recipes, and cooking techniques
- Fast: you’re highly motivated and skilled and work rapidly in the kitchen without compromising quality
Responsibilities:
- Accurately cook protein, starch, veggie, sauce, snack, and pastry recipes at an expert level
- Make sure everything you cook is perfectly cooked: nothing is overcooked or undercooked; nothing is overseasoned or underseasoned; recipes visually look, taste, smell, and feel exactly as designed
- You taste test and correct as needed every batch of food you prepare to ensure nothing goes out unless it meets our very high standards; if needed, you recommend recipe corrections
- Follow protocol and recipes precisely to ensure accurate recipes, accurate yield, and full compliance with company and government food safety standards
