Meal Prep Packer (4:00am-12:00pm shift)


Be part of the team that has been serving health and happiness to Las Vegas since 2016! As one of our Meal Prep Packers, you'll join our portioning team and will be responsible for measuring, weighing, and portioning food into meal-prep containers. Overall, this role is crucial for ensuring accurate portioning of meals, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen facility.
We are a fast-growing meal prep company looking for motivated, self-starting, positive, and hardworking individuals to join our fantastic team. We run a 24-hour production kitchen with positions open for overnight and early morning.

Day In The Life
  1. Portioning Food: Your primary responsibility would be to accurately measure and portion food items into individual containers or plates according to specified portion sizes and recipes. This would involve using measuring tools, scales, and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  2. Plating and Presentation: You would be responsible for arranging and presenting the portioned meals in an appealing and visually pleasing manner. This may involve following plating guidelines, garnishing dishes, and ensuring that the presentation meets the facility's standards.
  3. Following Recipes and Guidelines: You would need to follow recipes and portioning guidelines provided by the kitchen facility. This would involve understanding portion sizes, ingredient ratios, and any specific instructions related to portioning and plating.
  4. Maintaining Portion Control: It would be your responsibility to ensure that portion sizes are consistent and meet the facility's portion control standards. This may involve regular monitoring, adjusting portion sizes as needed, and communicating any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
  5. Quality Control: You would be expected to maintain high standards of food quality and ensure that portioned meals meet the facility's quality guidelines. This may involve checking for freshness, proper temperature, and overall food presentation.
  6. Cleanliness and Sanitation: You would need to adhere to proper hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation practices while handling food items. This includes following food safety protocols, maintaining a clean work area, and properly storing portioned meals.
  7. Communication and Collaboration: You may be required to communicate with other kitchen staff, such as cooks or supervisors, to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns related to portioning or meal preparation.
What It Takes To Be Great
  • Must have, or have the ability to obtain, an SNHD food handlers card
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Comfortable standing upright for long periods
  • Comfortable working with their hands
  • Reliable and punctual attention to detail
  • Believes food safety is a top priority
  • Can withstand a cool work environment (55 degrees)
Availability & Pay
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Pay: DOE $14-$16/hour starting
