- Ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks that sometimes include heavy lifting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; close attention to detail
The Job
- Receive and organize inventory
- Stock shelves, and refills displays
- Load and unload heavy, bulky products; may unload trucks
- Organize shelving and products
- Learn and apply product knowledge, with an eye for detail (i.e., rotation dates, self or label info, etc.) to help meet standards
- Keep work spaces clean and well organized (including storage shelves)
- Restaurant and restaurant equipment cleaning
- Food preparation
- Apply personal disciple to ensure compliance with and execution of established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and leader direction
- Ensure federal, state, and company regulations and standards for product food safety and sanitation are met
- Work efficiently with a team attitude; complies with and maintains productivity standards
- Takes constructive feedback well; applies learning to future tasks
- May coach and train other stockers
The Physical Demands of the position include:
- Frequently stand, walk and bend
- Reach at waist, grasp
- Reach overhead, at shoulder, knee, or floor.
- Bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, pivot, twist, push, pull, pinch
- Perform fine motor movements
- Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 to 80 lbs and manage in excess of 100 lbs
