As a Prep Cook, you'll handle essential food preparation tasks that keep the kitchen running efficiently and the flavors on point.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Complete daily prep tasks accurately and on time, following direction from the Kitchen Manager or leadership team
- Wash, chop, portion, and organize ingredients including produce, proteins, and sauces
- Measure and prepare ingredients according to Talkin' Tacos recipes and standards
- Label, date, and properly store ingredients to maintain freshness and food safety
- Assist with foundational cooking tasks such as parboiling, sauce preparation, and recipe builds
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized prep area throughout the shift
- Support dishwashing, utensil cleaning, trash removal, and overall kitchen cleanliness as needed
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations without exception
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
- Jump in to support the kitchen team wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
