Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Prep/Event Cook to join our back-of-house culinary team. The Prep Cook plays a vital role in our kitchen’s success by preparing fresh ingredients, following recipes precisely, and supporting our chefs to keep service running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Prepare ingredients (chopping vegetables, cutting meat, preparing sauces) according to recipes and daily prep lists
- Ensure all food is labeled, dated, and stored properly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, coolers, and storage
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist line cooks and chefs with prep and occasional line work during service
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure efficiency and consistency
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of previous kitchen or prep experience
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Passion for food, hospitality, and growth
- Dependable, punctual, and coachable
- Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
