Taste of Belgium is a modern Belgian brasserie known for scratch-made Liège waffles, authentic Belgian beers, and warm, genuine hospitality.
For nearly two decades we’ve been a Cincinnati favorite — from our famous weekend brunch to our growing dinner program featuring Belgian comfort food and the city’s best mussels selection.
We are currently in a Return to Roots phase, sharpening our standards and rebuilding the culture that made Taste of Belgium one of the most beloved restaurants in the region.
Compensation & Schedule
• Salary: $52,000 – $57,000 based on experience
• Typical schedule: approximately 45–50 hours per week
The Role
This is a hands-on floor leadership position responsible for leading the dining room and supporting our bar program.
You will report directly to the General Manager and help coach our team to deliver exceptional hospitality while maintaining strong operational standards.
Our restaurants operate breakfast, lunch, dinner, and one of Cincinnati’s most beloved weekend brunch programs, creating a vibrant and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead Guest Experience
• Create a culture of unconditional hospitality
• Ensure every guest interaction reflects the Taste of Belgium standard
• Help guests discover Belgian specialties, beer pairings, and new menu items
Support the Bar Program
• Help lead a bar program featuring Belgian classics and local craft favorites
• Teach team members the art of the perfect pour
• Guide guests through our beer list and beverage offerings
Drive Operations
• Manage labor, scheduling, and service flow with an owner’s mindset
• Maintain awareness of food, beverage, and labor costs
• Support dinner and bar sales through strong floor leadership
Develop the Team
• Recruit, train, and mentor hospitality professionals
• Build a culture where teamwork, pride, and accountability thrive
