Position Summary
In this critical role, you will be the face of Dink & Dine Pickle Park—actively engaging with guests, networking in the community, and forging new partnerships that lead to recurring event business. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, selling, and coordinating event bookings—from large-scale corporate gatherings to social celebrations—while working closely with the General Manager, Pickleball Manager, and Event Coordinator. Your success will be measured by your ability to grow revenue through effective relationship-building, strategic outreach, and collaboration within the venue.
Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Networking
• Attend local chamber functions, business mixers, and community events to promote Dink & Dine Pickle Park and build new relationships.
• Actively engage with administrative professionals, wedding planners, business leaders, and local associations to generate leads and drive event bookings.
• Serve as a brand ambassador by showcasing our facility’s unique features and forging strategic partnerships with local organizations.

Sales & Relationship Management
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Utilize TripleSeat (our CRM) to manage client relationships, track leads, organize bookings, and generate reports on sales performance.
• Leverage your existing book of business to bring in new clients and cultivate long-term, repeat event partnerships.

In-Venue Guest Engagement
• Maintain a high profile within the venue, interacting with guests, explaining available event packages, and responding to inquiries.
• Proactively upsell corporate outings, private parties, and other events while ensuring a memorable guest experience.
• Collect immediate feedback from on-site guests about potential future events or referrals.

Event Booking & Coordination
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Pickleball Manager to align booking strategies, court availability, and venue operations for seamless event execution.
• Partner with the Event Coordinator to ensure all event logistics—including timelines, menus, and staffing needs—are handled efficiently.
• Negotiate event contracts, package options, and pricing to balance client satisfaction with the venue’s revenue goals.

Collaboration with Marketing
• Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Team to develop targeted campaigns, showcase events, and promotional materials aimed at various market segments (corporate, social, sports clubs, etc.).
• Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, helping shape new marketing strategies.
• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and report on ROI, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Drop-Off Catering & Offsite Sales
• Develop and expand drop-off catering opportunities by targeting businesses, private residences, and community organizations.
• Coordinate with the Culinary Team to ensure top-quality service and menu offerings that resonate with diverse client needs.
• Oversee logistics and follow up to guarantee high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in sales for eatertainment, sportstainment, hospitality, or a related high-volume events environment.
• Proven book of business with established contacts in corporate, social, or community markets.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering successful corporate/social events.
• Strong community presence with excellent networking skills—able to effectively interface with local businesses, event planners, and civic organizations.
• Proficiency in TripleSeat or comparable CRM software, plus standard business applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, with a knack for relationship-building.
• Team-oriented mindset, capable of working closely with the GM, Pickleball Manager, Event Coordinator, and cross-functional teams.
• Flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends) to attend networking events and support on-site functions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit clients and attend offsite functions.
