Job Description:
The Funny Bone is a friendly, fast paced, 350 seat comedy club that hosts 4-7 shows every week. We are an award-winning comedy club that features America's top comedians. Our commitment is to produce the very best comedic venue Hampton Roads has to offer and we are only hiring individuals that share our same vision. We have a full kitchen, & full bar with great food and drinks, plenty of loyal regulars, and a large, diverse crowd.
As a member of our security staff, you will be scheduled 2-5 nights totaling 5-7 hours. Shifts are between Wednesday and Sunday. We’re not usually open every night. You will be responsible for checking ID's to confirm guests meet age requirements and walking them back to the showroom to be seated. Assist Coworkers in clearing and resetting the showroom. You will also be responsible for removing heckling or disruptive guest from our showroom. In many cases, you are the first impression to guests, so a professional and inviting work ethic is mandatory.
