Ocean Palace is hiring Servers to join our team. If you're excited to be part of a landmark restaurant known for authentic Cantonese cuisine and one of the largest dim sum dining rooms in Houston, Ocean Palace is a great place to grow your career.

Responsibilities for Server:

Greet guests as they enter the restaurant
Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
Take orders and enter them into the ordering system
Serve food and beverages, including traditional dim sum items served from carts
Clear, properly clean, and reset tables between uses
Collect payment from guests in a timely manner
Maintain a clean workspace by cleaning before, during, and after shifts
Assist in training new team members as required
Anticipate guests’ needs to ensure an enjoyable dining experience

Qualifications for Server:

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guest expectations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Friendly and positive attitude toward guests and team members
Strong work ethic with a willingness to take initiative
Confident and outgoing demeanor
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop, and lift a moderate weight
Be of legal age to serve alcohol
Food service certificate
