Margaritas Mexican Restaurant - Portsmouth - 775 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH 03801

• Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner. 
• Ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner and assist in the seating arrangement to optimize restaurant space. 
• Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage. 
• Exhibit a thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, menu items and their preparation methods, ingredients, and allergens. 
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly. 
• Serve food and drinks to guests, and check on guest satisfaction. 
• Resolve customer complaints politely and promptly. 
• Manage multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner. 
• Prepare final bill, present it to guests, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change accurately. 
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment. 
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage. 

• Proven work experience as a server, waiter, or waitress. 
• Excellent presentation skills, always demonstrating a professional image. 
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. 
• Active listening and effective communication skills. 
• Team spirit and a positive attitude. 
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings. 
• High school diploma: food safety training will be considered a plus. 

• Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time. 
• Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 pounds. 
• Ability to bend, twist, and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, and overhead.
