Bludso's BBQ in Santa Monica is seeking friendly and attentive Servers to provide exceptional customer service and ensure an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about dishes and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to any additional requests or needs
- Anticipate and address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure a positive dining experience
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and resetting tables
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic dining environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Ability to memorize and accurately recall menu items and specials
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill handling
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
