Job Description

The Shift Manager will assist the General Manager (GM) and Assistant Manager (AM) in the operation of a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in a manner that will provide our guest with a superb experience and will maintain an invigorating and stimulating work environment for all team members while helping the restaurant achieve its financial objectives. Responsibilities will include the areas of Guest Service and Shift Management.

Qualifications include:

Availability: Open availability (20-35 hours per week)
Must be able to adhere to all brand standards and maintain standards with team members
Team leadership and training: Supervise, train, and motivate team members to deliver memory lasting service and food
Operate and maintain speed and service operations
Have an encouraging and uplifting attitude at all times
Assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and scheduling
Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to ensure compliance with brand standard
Manage cash drawers
Enforce and oversee all policies and standards
Support local marketing efforts such as catering orders or community events
Must have at least 1 year of past restaurant experience (prior leadership experience preferred)
Basic math and financial skills for cash handling and reporting
Reliable transportation including valid driver's license and vehicle
Comfortable leveraging Outlook calendar to keep track of schedules
