Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated leader to oversee the service in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a service leader, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, running customer facing processes, and maintaining high standards of food service.

Duties:
  • Supervise and coordinate restaurant activities, including customer service and front of house operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train and develop staff members on proper food handling procedures
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, including cash register reconciliation and deposits.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction and increasing sales.
  • Ability to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 lbs.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food industry or hospitality management
  • Strong knowledge of food production processes and techniques
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire employees
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
Skills:
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate employees towards achieving goals.
  • Food Industry: In-depth knowledge of the food industry including food safety regulations, trends, and best practices.
  • Hospitality Management: Understanding of hospitality management principles including customer service, guest satisfaction, and employee training.
  • Food Handling: Proficient in proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Team Management: Ability to build and lead a cohesive team, provide guidance and support, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Inventory Control: Proficient in inventory management systems, conducting regular stock checks, and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to handle inquiries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
