JOB SCOPE/SUMMARY:

Essential Job Functions

Preparation: Responsible for the preparation of certain food items. In non 24 hour restaurants you may also set up the various work stations and server early morning customers

Walk-Up Order Taking: Demonstrates a complete understanding of our menu items and has the ability to explain them to guests accurately in a friendly manner

Dining Room Delivery: Responsible for delivering orders to customers and ensuring orders are complete and prepared properly

Drive-Thru Ordertaker: Responsible for taking orders from drive-thru customers in a friendly and efficient manner

Push-Drive Delivery Person: Responsible for fast and efficient flow of the drive-thru window operations
- Dining Room Host/Hostess: Responsible for cleanliness of the dining room
- Assembly: Responsible for ensuring each customer received exactly what they ordered, both promptly and courteously.
- Drinks: Responsible for filling all drink and dessert orders
- Taco Bar: Responsible for preparation of each mexican food item quickly and according to the recipe
- Grill: Responsible for preparation of food items from the American kitchen
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to be self-reliant. Execute assigned duties and responsibility from upper management staff.
- Able to speak, read, and write effectively in English. Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with management, corporate staff, restaurant employees, and customers.
- Must adhere to Del Taco uniform and grooming policy.
- Able to stand and walk for approximately 95% - 100% of shift.
- Able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location and operate respective work stations. Work requires standing and walking 80-90% of the time.
EDUCATION: High school preferred.
