Responsibilities for Wok Chef:

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes using wok stations according to established recipes
Operate woks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ensure all dishes are cooked to standard and delivered in a timely manner
Monitor ingredient levels at your station and restock as needed
Maintain a clean and organized wok station and surrounding prep areas
Ensure quality, freshness, and consistency of all dishes leaving your station
Follow all sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene standards
Assist with training other kitchen staff as needed
Perform additional tasks as assigned by kitchen shift leads and managers

Qualifications for Wok Chef:

Proven experience cooking with a wok in a high-volume kitchen
Strong understanding of Cantonese and Asian cooking methods
Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Able to stand, bend, and lift moderate to heavy items
Flexible to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
