Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food is prepared safely and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position requires a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Perform cooking tasks as needed, including grilling, frying, and baking.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Help with bussing tables and serving food during events or busy service periods.
  • Support banquet operations by preparing large quantities of food in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation and service.
  • Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Skills
  • Strong experience in food preparation, cooking, and cleaning within a culinary environment.
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering services is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
  • Experience with banquet service is a plus.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
